In the fall of 2016, we lost our parent to a slow painful disease, Alzheimer's dementia. After spending years taking care of our aging parents' needs we found ourselves with a void in our lives.
To fill the void and to give back in our parent's memory, we paddled to raise awareness of how precious life is and how important it is to create meaningful memories. Our 258 mile SUP journey from St. Augustine to Palm Beach along the Intracoastal Waterway launched on October 13, 2018. In a series of 24 paddles over several months, we completed the journey that is "Something I Will Never Forget".
In memory of Eleanor Holland, Gene Marks, Jeanette Golden, Horton VanEtten and countless others we continue to raise funds to help end Alzheimer's. Please be part of our cause. Click here to register for our next paddle event.
